A few weeks ago, I shared some collage bookmarks I made to give away to my Etsy customers. I made another two batches, usual the same technique of tearing magazine pages into long strips and attaching them to cardboard from a cereal box.
Here's the start of one set of bookmarks:
I distressed the paper by lightly sanding it. I like the raw look.
The finished product:
I don't know if I'd choose the same stencil again for this purpose. It's so busy that the background gets lost. And it's not very pleasing to look at.
