When I'm browsing the book aisles in thrift stores, old, cloth-bound hardbacks always catch my eye. A few years ago, I spotted a green hardback in pristine condition: Human Microanatomy, published in 1970.
It's filled with photos and drawings of anatomical closeups of every part of the human body. I was entranced. But I haven't done anything with the illustrations. Until now.
A few weeks ago, the book called to me from its shelf. Suddenly, I was full of ideas for how to use the images in my collages. I wanted to make aliens. Lots of them! Like these...
