For some reason, I'm compelled to combine unlikely images in my work. These come from a book on industrial welding and a guide to the Louvre museum in France.
I would love to emulate your work but the books you find are so perfect for the task. I must say I admire not only your ability to contrast the images but the ability to ferret out the perfect contrasting combos of images.
I just can't stop laughing - bizarre, quirky, madness do not even begin to describe them. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Win! I don't know if I should be worried that they come so easily to me.

ReplyDeleteArt books are pretty easy to find at thrift stores, but the guide to welding (actually something published in the 60s by Alcoa), was a rare find.
DeleteNeed I say this is another "Winner, winner, chicken dinner!"
ReplyDeleteI love your ugly images- they truly add to the delightful pieces you create!! I agree these are bizarre ,quirky and high-larious!! Keep em coming! ")
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should change the name of my blog to "BIZARRO COLLAGE"!!!

ReplyDeleteThe votes are in and "quirky" is in fact the winning adjective!
