Lately my collages have shrunk. Here's a recent small project, created in my collage workshop with John Arbuckle. It's a multi-fold collage book that fits into a small metal tin.
We made the backgrounds first, without knowing what the theme of the book would be. I found a photograph of 16 painted pigs who became the stars of my book.
Here are the spreads. I added text from a French translation of a Tin Tin comic book.
The inside of the tin includes two more collages.
I stuck magnetic letters on the top of the tin. For the bottom, I made a magnet out of a pig postage stamp.
What do you think?
Very fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cindie!
DeleteLove love - what size is the tin?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jewels. The tin is 2 1/4 in. x 3 1/2 in.
DeleteCould you make these into wallets? That would be really cute. Especially with pigs.
ReplyDeleteInteresting idea!
DeleteSo, so, so cool! So successful and makes me smile! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, John! I was happy to discover that the tin was magnetic so I could stick stuff to the outside.
