More smoking in wartime -- collages in black and white

I started this book project by collecting lots small black and white images with interesting patterns and shapes. I combined them to make larger patterns, then added small figures as focal points. The text comes from an old etiquette book. 

I used an alphabet stencil to make the front and back covers.
