For this series of strange collages, I used illustrations from a micro-anatomy book to create awfully odd automobiles. I didn't realize it when I started, but my subconscious was compelling me to create an homage to the 1960s cartoon Wacky Races, which featured fantastical race cars. (My fav was driven by Penelope Pitstop, of course.)
To drive these Model-T era creations, I added men and women from the Sears catalog. The backgrounds came from vintage ads in old Scientific American magazines.
