Recently, my friend Karen -- also a collage artist -- was cleaning out her library and found a book she thought I'd like...to cut up. Introduction to Yoga, a trade paperback from 1969, is filled with faded black-and-white photos of a male and female model demonstrating yoga poses.
Karen knows me well...the photos were an endless source of inspiration. (Who would be caught dead wearing dancing tights and a turtleneck to a yoga class today?) Here are some of the collages I created.
